Perfect place for picnic!!
This forest is small and I mean incredibly small. Better than nothing I suppose. There is no extensive trail system or anything like that but if you're just looking for a tiny park to spend less than 30 minutes at maybe this park is what you're looking for.
Parking can be tricky, the lot is small, so head early, at lunch time or after 3, if it's a hot day. Slash pad is fun for the kids, there is also a story book trail, picnic tables with grills, and an exercise path with equipment.
Great hidden gem! There is a small water park for kids to play and run around. It's nice and shade. And after or before playing in the water park families can take a short trail through the woods. Beautiful park!
The splash pad in the summer is amazing for young children! It's mostly shaded by the trees which is good for sun protection.
