I try not to write disparaging remarks about anyone's craft. So I hope that this review is seen by the owner and can assist with your business growth. They seem very quiet. I had service with Sandra. Her sweet demeanor was very refreshing and her ability to try to accommodate me was extremely commendable seeing as I only gave her 2 hours notice. With that being said I want to start off with you guys have a lot of hot equipment in your facility. You guys need to turn on your air conditioner. I hate to come to a hairdresser that's not properly cool and they do my edges and my edges curl back up due to the heat. Also if you don't know how to do a service don't say you do. I would rather you tell me what you can do and let me decide sometimes we may have to accept what we can get in the spirit of our appearance. I stopped going to this location once before because I was told that we were able to do Sisterlocks at this location and that was not factual information. In a pinch I came back to the facility yesterday June 14th and was told that my dreadlocks could be styled. They could be styled but not in a style that you pick from a magazine it's a limited amount that many of your workers need to learn that skill. The staff really doesn't great you much when you come in. The beauty supply next door is always closed and you have to unlock it in order to get a product that you may need. Your staff will drop a towel on the floor pick it up off of the floor and put it back around the shoulders of the customer and potentially try to use it in their hair. I saw this done alot at the location. You also may need to add a little bleach in with your towels because they smell a bit like mildew. The beauty parlor is way too quiet. Relaxation music or a talk show maybe the avenue to go to make this feel like some type of spa treatment. Rather what you end up doing is running down your battery life on your phone trying to watch something to keep you entertained. I asked that you take these suggestions in stride rather than to have a conflict with my personal opinion it is not the opinion of others and I would never tell people not to try this location. Although they are a bit heavy-handed when it comes to twisting and braiding they do a very good job with their braids.
Diana is Amazing. She's the owner. She's willing do whatever you want at a very reasonable price. All the ladies in the shop know how to work with all types of hair
I used to love coming here until the last few times. My daughter got her hair done by the same person for almost a year. The last 3 times I got her hair done the front braids had fallen out after 2 weeks and after 3 it looked like a trainwreck! And they always wanted me to pay wayy more than stated in the phone call. When I started I was only paying 50. They wanted to charge me 100 for the same style! Your skills did not improve so why did the price rise? They lie and tell you they are honest people when they try to scam you out of money and fight with you. I've seen them charge two different women for the same exact services way different prices. One paid 30 and the other paid 75. Not Right! Also, super unprofessional. You shouldn't leave a shop upset because you got screamed at by the owner for stating the truth.
